Hey friends, Matt here – your local Olympian and real estate guide based right here in the heart of Colorado’s mountains. In this week’s episode of the Ski Summit Show, Benji and I dug into a lot of great local content you won’t want to miss.
lverthorne’s New Trail Development
We kicked things off with a discussion about a new bike-friendly trail proposed in Silverthorne. It’s a key part of the town’s master development plan to link the growing town core with northern neighborhoods. While it’s been approved, budget limitations may delay its completion – but it’s an exciting vision for a more connected mountain town. More Here >
First Friday Fun – Roll-A-Rama
Looking for something to do in the community? Silverthorne’s First Friday is back with a roller-skating-themed night at the Outlets in the Blue Village. If you haven’t been on skates in a while, maybe it’s time to dust them off and join the fun! More Here >
Market in a Minute
This week’s snapshot of the Summit County real estate market shows that 35% of active listings have seen price drops, with an average decrease of 7.4%. A lot of these are due to initial overpricing – not necessarily a shift in values. Sellers: if you're not seeing showings or offers, it might be time to reevaluate your list price.
Listing of the Week
We wrapped up with a jaw-dropping transformation in Silverthorne. This fully remodeled home, originally built in 1981, has been updated top to bottom – complete with a new garage and incredible mountain views. It’s listed at $1,795,000 and is walking distance from the revitalized town core. Check it Out >
